Imperata cylindrica ‘Red Baron’

Stunning, upright grass with lime green leaves that turn progressively through burgundy red to claret-blood red in late summer and into early autumn. This is a unique and breathtakingly beautiful plant. 

Excellent as a compliment to any bowl or container as a central feature or in a mixed planting scheme in raised beds or borders. Plant in well-drained, moisture retentive soil or potting compost. Prefers full sun or partial shade and is a hardy plant which should survive normal winter conditions outside. Provide protection for the hardest and prolonged frosts.
