Cordyline australis Charlie Boy
Cabbage Palm
We love this funky pink cordyline! Striking bright burgundy-bronze and reddish-pink stripes define the swords of arching foliage. As the plant matures, large panicles of creamy-white, sweet-smelling flowers appear during summer.
Grow as a specimen plant in a shrub border, sheltered courtyard or as a container plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile well-drained soil. Ideal for coastal and gravel gardens as well as contemporary city gardens. This is a hardy plant which will survive normal winter conditions but will need protection from hard frosts and can tolerate strong winds once established.
